This unusual cultivar of Wallisia cyanea has a spike with three sides. Instead of the normal flat paddle, the paddle has three sides. It is very strange the first time you see it. The petals are normal. It offsets and as expected the offsets will have the same threes-sided spike. We used to call this Tillandsia cyanea 'Tres Lados', but it is a cultivar that has been registered as Tillandsia Triflor, or now Wallisia Triflor
