First release of a cross made in 1990. Tillandsia chiapensias X bourgaei. This is a slow growing hybrid. I only have three that have bloomed and are now pupping, so I am ready to release one pup. It has a open rosette with slightly and leaves covered with white scurf. The inflorescence is similar in shape to bourgeai but the bracts have more color and scurf. Blooming plants are up to 3 feet tall.
