A cultivar of one of the many hybrids that John Arden made using Tillandsia concolor X capitata ”Rubra”. The name “Rubra” was applied to both red colored leaves as well as pink colored leaves. This cross must have been made with the pink one. The foliage is light-green, and blushes more pink when blooming. It produces several pink colored spikes and purple petals.
