Tillandsia aeranthos
$2.50
We acquired this plant years ago from Michael Kashkin who used to own a nursery in the Los Angeles area called Fuchsia Land. He had some unusual plants from Bolivia, and this is one of them. It appears to be related to T. aeranthos, or possibly a hybrid. The forms a caulescent rosette and foliage is bronze colored. It forms large clumps and rarely blooms. When it does, the spike is bright pink with pale lavender flowers. Individual plants are up to 8 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter.
