This originated out of the grex that created Tillandsia Queen's Delight, which is a hybrid of Tillandsia calsoniae X chiapensis. It produces a single chiapensis-like pink spike which is longer (up to 15 inches) than Tillandsia chiapensis. The rosette is open with soft foliage, similar to T. carlsoniae.
