Tillandsia pseudomicans is from Peru. I originally acquired my first one from Prof. Werner Rauh almost 30 years ago. It has grey-green foliage, covered with fine trichomes giving a slightly white appearance to the leaves. The plant has an open rosette on a slightly caulescent stem. The bloom is a single pink spike with white petals.
