This is a natural hybrid of Tillandsia ehlersiana and schiedeana. It was found growing at the type locality of Tillandsia ehlersiana, in the early '80's.  We have been propagating this from offsets for more than 30 years. In 2002 it was registered as Tillandsia Peltry Jellyfish. The inflorescence is rose colored and the petals are bicolored, white at the tips and lavendar at the base. Sometimes it will produce all white petals.
