Many years ago we acquired one plant from the Australian hybridizer, Barry Gem. It is a hybrid of Tillandsia crocata  and duratii.  It is larger than T. crocata but smaller than T. duratii.  Both parents are fragrant and so is this hybrid. It is has a beautiful pale yellow flower with brown spots and is fragrant.
