This cross was made in January of 1990, using the pollen from Tillandsia carlsoniae and the seed parent - Tillandsia mitlaensis.  It has white foliage covered with a fine scurf and make an open rosette. The inflorescence will have 1 - 10 branches on a short scape. Branches are narrow and pink-colored with purple petals. The rosette has a slightlt bulbous base and the leaves are up to 16 inches long.
