One of John Arden's tillandsia hybrids, this one with Tillandsia ionantha and the large form of Tillandsia seleriana from Mexico.  This hybrid is much larger than other crosses made with T. ionantha and X T. seleriana.  Full size plants are 15 - 18 cm tall.  Center foliage will blush red when blooming and produce medium purple flowers.
