Originally published as Tillandsia paucifolia subsp. schubertii, then it became Tillandsia intermedia subsp. schubertii and now it is just T. intermedia.

It is much smaller than the typical Tillandsia intermedia and so we still keep it with it's old name and number. Just like T. intermedia it makes pups on the inflorescence so don't cut the spikes of before you see the pups.
