We acquired this hybrid from Bak nurseries in the Netherlands in 1990's.  Plants are 30 cm plus when blooming.  Compact rosette with semi stiff silvery-white upright leaves. The upright inflorescence emerges well above the foliage and produces several branches with strong orange-red color. It produces purple petals, and a there is a slight twist to the inflorescence, typical of Tillandsia harrisii hybrids.

Formerly incorrectly sold as both T. Chevalieri x fasciculata v. densispica and T. harrisii x Chevalieri.
