Acquired many years ago from John Arden as Tillandsia circinnatoides X capitata. Just like T. circinnatoides it is a slow grower and usually only makes one offset, which makes it difficult to increase our inventory. Plants are at least double the size of T. circinnatoides and they have the characteristic leathery foliage with veining. Foliage blushes red when blooming. The inflorescence it typical of most capitata hybrids.
