This giant clone of Tillandsia chiapensis was cultivated by Steve Correale. He selected superior clones and cultivated them into these giant, multi-spiked Tillandsia chiapensis. Recently, these were registered with the cultivar name - T. chiapensis 'Gigantesco'.
