Tillandsia capitata are extremely variable in color and size. This form has grey-green leaves and is 15-18 inches tall in bloom. The inflorescence turns bright yellow when blooming and is attractive and long lasting. The smaller form of yellow capitata in cultivation is referred to as T. capitata yellow, dwarf form.
