This is a hybrid of Tillandsia scaposa X brachycaulos. It has narrow upright leaves that slightly recurve. The inflorescence is brachycaulos-like producing numerous purple petals. It is reminds one of Tillandsia Victoria, but the foliage is much thinner. Therefore I am naming it after Victoria's last name -  Padilla, Tillandsia Padilla.
