The classification of this species was changed from the genus Tillandsia to the genus Racinaea. This mesic species is native to Ecuador.  It has soft yellow/green leaves with dark spotting.  it produces a spectacular orange colored inflorescence with white flowers.  Can be grown in pots or mounted.  Likes lots of water.
