Hybrid of Orthopytum guerkenii x lemei, it resembles gurkenii parent with 6" rigid slightly recurving leaves tapering to point at tip. Brown foliage almost obscured by dense silver scurf above and below leaves - 24" inflorescence resembling gurkenii w/red floral bracts and white flowers.
