This Koide hybrid uses Tillandsia rothiii as the maternal parent and T. tricolor as the pollen parent. The foliage is narrow like tricolor, but has the yellow coloring of T. rothii and turns orange-red when blooming. Plants grow to 20 inches in height and will tolerate strong light.
